Originally from Romania, I moved to Canada when I was 5 years old. In 2000, my parents planned our first trip, which was to Paris, Barcelona and finally back to Romania after 6 years of not seeing our friends and relatives. Not only did I enjoy the plane rides, but the feeling of being in another country and adapting to a new transportation system and seeing new places was amazing. The following summer, we went to an all-inclusive resort in Mexico. And that is when I realized that I had gotten bit by the travel bug and wanted to experience every corner of the world. I studied Travel and Tourism at college, and then upgraded my diploma to a Bachelor of Commerce in Hospitality and Tourism Management.
During my last year of university, I started my own travel agency, called Unravel World Travel. Being a travel agent, I’ve been invited to exclusive trips to experience different resorts and cruises. In 2012 I took my first solo trip, and realized that traveling solo and making new like-minded friends from all over the world was my travel style. In 2014, I became an adventure buff after traveling to New Zealand and experiencing a lot of daring adventures which I never thought I would have the courage to do. Ask me which activities I’ve done, and you will think I’m beyond crazy! And I could go on with the amount of travel experiences I’ve had which have changed me for the better. As they say “travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer”. I launched this blog to share my rich travel experiences with others!
